NEW COMPANY, IT RISK MANAGERS, INC.,  TO ASSIST INSURANCE AGENTS WITH INTERNET & TECHNOLOGY INSURANCE

Okemos, MI., November 15, 2000 – With the explosion of e-business and e-commerce over the past few years, new insurance products have emerged to insure against viruses, hackers and other potential online liabilities.  While some insurance agents across the country have been successful in sharing these new protection options with their clients, most are not up-to-speed with how to risk manage these new virtual risks and exposures

IT Risk Managers, Inc. (ITRisk), a new firm headed by Internet and technology risk manager Larry Harb, one of the co-founder of the WiSP (Website Insurance and Security Program), is back working with insurance agents to provide them with all of the tools necessary to compete in the new world of e-commerce insurance.  Specifically ITRisk is providing IT risk management training, educational seminars, wholesaling and web site development services to the insurance industry.
