EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN
Our Identity Theft products will be
available for purchase as an employer-paid benefit for all
full-time employees (and other employees at the employer’s
option) in your company. This product could also be used as
a value adding service to your customers, as a retention
tool. Upon purchase of a corporate benefit plan, a corporate
certificate of insurance will be issued to your company
which will include the effective date of the corporate
certificate and the number of employees or customers
covered. We will also provide your company with an Identity
Theft Program benefit summary which you can distribute to
your employees or customers describing this new benefit.

Benefits to the Company or Organization
Your employees, members or
customers have a real need for this product, but are in
denial or are uneducated about their exposure. There is
a growing need for identity theft coverage, but most
people don’t realize it yet. Nearly 1 in 8 individuals
have experienced some type of an identity theft event in
the past 5 years and the number is only going to grow.
The risk of becoming an identity theft victim can only
be minimized, not prevented.
The insurance module has a
reimbursement for loss wages. The average identity theft
event takes over 600 hours to clear up. Should an
employee become an identity theft victim, they may need
time off from work to resolve the identity theft event.
The insurance module provides a sub-limit of up to
$2,500 (depending on the product) per week in lost wages
for up to four weeks maximum.
In a time when some
companies and organizations are cutting benefits, this
is a great low cost, high value benefit to be able to
give.
This plan is auditable and is based on an average number of
enrollees.Therefore, additions and deletions can be reported to IT
Risk Managers, Inc. quarterly on our Identity Theft
Enrollment Spreadsheet so that new enrollees can be
added to the plan and terminated enrollees can be
deleted.
